Abu Saeed says that the Messenger of Allah (ص) said:
“O Ali, you will have with you on the Day of Resurrection a stick from the sticks of Paradise with which you will drive back the hypocrites from my pond”
Dailami, Firduas Al-Akhbar, V.5, page 408; Qunduzi, Yanabi al-Muwadda, V.2, page 375; Haythami, Maj’mah al-Zawaid, V.9, page 135; Tabarani, Al-Mu’jam As-Saghir, V.2, page 89 and Tabarani narrates in Al- Mu’jam Al-Awsat, (V.5, page 225) that Abdullah ibn Ajara ibn Qais said, “I heard Ali say from the pulpit, ‘With my simple hands, I shall drive away the infidels and hypocrites from the pond of the Messenger of Allah just as camel drivers (herdsmen) drive away alien camels from their ponds.’
And in Mujam al-Kabir (vol. 1, p. 319) it is narrated from Abu Rafeh that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) said to Ali (a.s.): "You and your followers shall come to me by the pond while having been benefited and quenched by water and your faces would be white. But your enemies would come to me thirsty while their faces would be ugly and bad-looking."
