Ali’ (ع) path is the right path

Ammar ibn Yasir said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ص) saying:

﴿ عَلِيٌّ مَعَ الْـحَقِّ وَالْـحَقُّ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ، لَا يَفْتَرِقَانِ حَتَّی يَرِدَا عَلَيَّ الْـحَوْضَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ﴾

"Ali is with truth and truth is with Ali, they will not separate from each other until they come to me at the Pond on the Day of Resurrection"

In Tarikh Madinah-Damishq, (Ibn Asaker, V.42, p.449) it is narrated from Abu Thabit, slave of Abuzar that he said: “One day I went to Umm Salamah and by being mindful of Ali, she wept and said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) say: “Ali is with the truth and truth is with Ali, and they will not separate from each other until they come to me at the pond on the Day of Resurrection.”

It is narrated from Abdul Rahman ibn Abi Saeed who said: “We were together with a group of Muhajir in the presence of the holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) when Ali passed by our side. The holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said: “Truth is with him”.

And this statement has been narrated by Haythami in Maj’mah al-Zawaid (V.7, page 234-235) and Ibn Asaker in Tarikh Madinah-Damishq (V.42, p.449):

And it is narrated from Abu Musa Ash’ari that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) said to Ali (a.s.): “You are with the truth and truth is with you”.

According to the narration of Aini in Manaqib Sayedna Ali, (page 29) and Shahr Nahjul-Balagha (V.18, p.24). Close to such words have been narrated from Ayesha in Manaqib Sayedna Ali (Aini, page 15).

And Haythami in Maj’mah al-Zawaid (V.9, p.134-135) has narrated from Umm Salamah that she would often say, “Ali revolved around the truth. Whoever obeyed him, followed the truth and whoever rejected him rejected the truth. This is a covenant that has already been taken before.”
