Ibn Asaker, Tarikh Madinah-Damishq, V.42, page 277; It is narrated from Imran ibn Husain that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) said to Ali: "Your love will not be favored except by the believer and your enmity will not enter the hearts except that of the hypocrites."

Tabarani, Al-Mu’jam Al-Awsat, V.2, page 337. And it is narrated from Umm-Salamah that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) said to Ali: "O Ali! No believer will show enmity towards you and the hypocrite will never love you."

And it is narrated from Abu Sa’id Khudri who said: "We the group of Ansars, knew the hypocrites by the hatred they felt toward Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s.)."
