It is narrated from Anas bin Malik and Buraidah that they said:
The Messenger of Allah, (ص) in a gathering with his companions, recited this noble verse: (“In houses Allah has allowed to be raised”). One of them arose and said, “Which houses are these, O Messenger of Allah?”
The Prophet (ص) said: “The houses of the prophets.”
Then, Abu Bakr stood up and pointing at the house of Ali and Fatimah, said: O Messenger of Allah! Is this house too included? The Prophet replied, “Yes, this house is among the most honorable and blessed one.”

Suyuti, Al-Durr al-Manthur, V.5, page 50; Hakim al-Haskani, Shawahid al-Tanzil, V.1, page 39, V.534; And it is narrated in Manaqib ibn Marduyeh (p. 284) that a man asked Ibn Umar to tell him about Ali ibn Abi Talib. He said: Do you wish to know his position and status in the eyes of the holy Prophet? Look at his house, which is placed in the center of the houses of the Prophet.
And Nisa’i in Khasa’is-e-Amir-ul-Mu’minin (a.s.), [page 204] has narrated from Sa’ad ibn Ubaydah who said: A man came to Ibn Umar and asked him about Ali. He replied: “Do not ask me about Ali, look at his house to find out its status in relation to the houses of the
