Replica of Quran

The Messenger of Allah (ص) at the time of illness and before passing away, said:

"O people! It seems my soul would be possessed soon and I would pass away. I will tell you something in this sate so that you have no more excuses. Be aware that I leave behind among you (as my successor), the Book of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, and my progeny, Ahl al-bayt. Then he raised Ali's hand and said, "Ali is with the Qur'an and the Qur'an is with Ali, they will never separate from each other until they meet me by the pond (of Kauthar), and then I will ask them about what I left behind."

And in another tradition which Hakim Nishapuri considers as correct on the condition of the two Sheikhs, there is a similar hadith in which the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) at the end said, "My progeny, Ahl al-bayt" and then said, "Do you know that I am more worthy of the believers than themselves?" and repeated this statement three times.

They said, "Yes."

He said, "Whoever I am his master, Ali is his master." Al-Mustadrak, V.3, page 109-110.

And what Nisa’i has narrated from Zaid ibn Arqam, a companion is that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) said: “Allah is my Master and Protector and I have authority and am the master of believers, more than themselves! Then he held Ali’s hand and said: “Of whomsoever I was his master, he (Ali) is his ‘Wali’ (guardian). O Allah! Befriend whoever befriends him and show enmity to whomever shows enmity to him!
