Status like Aaron (Harun) (ع) was to Moses (Musa) (ع)

Omar, Anas, Jabir ibn-Abdullah and others have narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ص) said:

﴿ عَلِيٌّ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ موُسَی إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ (بَعْدي) ﴾

"Ali's rank in relation to me is the same as Aaron's relation to Moses except that there is no Prophet (after me)"

Ibn Abd al-Barr writes in Al-Isti’ab (V.3, page 1097) in the translation of Imam Ali-ibn-Abi Talib (a.s.): Ibn 'Abd al-'Abd al-'Ib writes in al-Istab (c. 3, p. 1097) in the translation of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib: "About this remark of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) to Ali, "You are to me like Moses to Aaron (Prophet)" has been narrated by a group of the Prophet’s companions and in terms of documentary evidence, this is among the best recorded and the most authentic works.

In the Book of Muqtal al-Husain (V.1, page 48), Kharazmi has said: "This hadith has been narrated by a group of (the Prophet’s) companions who are: Ali, Omar, Amer ibn Sa'd, Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, Umm Salma, Abu Saeed, Ibn Abbas, Jabir, Abu Huraira, Jabir ibn Samarah, Habashi ibn Junadah, Anas, Malik ibn Hawairas, Abu Ayub, Yazid ibn Abi Awfa, Abu Rafeh, Zayd ibn Arqam, Bara'a, Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa, Mu'awiya ibn Abi Sufyan, Ibn Omar, Barida ibn Haseeb, Khalid ibn Urfutah, Huzaifah ibn Asyad, Abul-Tufayl, Asma bint Umais, Fatimah, daughter of the holy Prophet and Fatimah daughter of Hamza ibn Abdul Muttalib.

Ganji Shafei writes in Kifayatu’t-Talib, chapter 70, page 283: “Hakim Nishapuri has said, ‘This hadith has reached the level of successive transmission (tawatur).”

Hakim al-Haskani writes in Shawahid al-Tanzil, V.1, page 195: “This is the same hadith-e-Manzilat about which our Shaikh Abu Hazim says, ‘I have quoted this hadith with five thousand chains of transmission.’

Suyuti in Al-Durr al-Manthur (V.3, page 266), Ibn Asaker in Tarikh Madinah-Damishq (V.42, page 112-117), Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani in Al-Isabah (V.4, page 468) have narrated from Sa’ad ibn Abi Waqqas that: Ali ibn Abi Talib left Medina together with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.). When he reached the farewell pilgrimage and the Prophet was going to Tabuk, he cried and said to the Prophet: "Are you leaving me behind with women and children and yourself going to Tabuk?"

The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) said: “Are you not pleased that your position to me is like Harun was to Musa except that there is no prophet!?” (after me).
