Ali and Fatimah are from me

Amirul-Mu’minin (ع) said:

On the authority of Ibn Abbas in the hadith about the marriage of Fatimah and Ali’, he says the Messenger of Allah (ص)] took the couple in his arms and said:
“Oh Allah! They are from me and I am from them, O Allah, just as you have removed filth and impurity from me and purified me, so purify them too”
